Welcome to Word Walks, where personal talk follows each personal walk—another way of saying I like to tell my family's stories. Besides writing, I am a fabric and fiber enthusiast, needle worker and paper crafter. As a Board member and Co-Affiliate Training Director for Students for a Creative Iowa, Iowa’s Destination Imagination® program, I promote creativity, teamwork and problem-solving among young people. I am a member of the Iowa Poetry Association, Blogging Business Artisans, and BBEST (Boomers and Beyond Etsy Street Team).
